By registering for any Trick & Fly program, workshop, camp, clinic, or event, participants and parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies.
Welcome to trickandfly.ca. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the services provided by Trick and Fly ("the School", "we", "us", or "our"), located at 150 Katimavik Rd suite 111, Kanata, ON K2L 2N2, Canada.
1. REGISTRATION
Registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis.
A participant's spot is not guaranteed until payment arrangements have been completed.
Participants may join an ongoing session if space is available. Fees for late registrations may be adjusted on a pro-rated basis to reflect the remaining classes.
All school policies, including the refund policy, apply equally to pro-rated registrations.
2. NEW STUDENT TRIAL CLASS
Trick & Fly offers one trial class per participant.
Trial classes are available to new students only.
Following the trial class, families must decide whether they wish to continue with registration. Additional trial classes are not available.
Trial class fees are non-refundable.
3. PAYMENT POLICY
Session fees must be paid before the start of the session.
An installment payment option may be available for selected programs. Installment plans are limited to a maximum of two payments and require a valid credit card on file.
By selecting an installment plan, the account holder authorizes Trick & Fly to automatically process future scheduled payments using the payment method provided.
If payment is not received within 24 hours of registration, Trick & Fly reserves the right to release the participant's spot to another family.
Failure to complete scheduled payments may result in suspension of participation until the account balance has been paid in full.
4. REFUND POLICY
Cancellations made before the start of a session are eligible for a refund, less a $50 administration fee.
No refunds will be issued once a session has started.
No refunds, credits, transfers, or make-up classes will be provided for missed classes due to illness, vacations, scheduling conflicts, weather-related travel issues, or other personal circumstances.
5. MISSED CLASSES
Missed classes are forfeited and cannot be refunded, credited, transferred, or rescheduled.
Trick & Fly does not offer make-up classes for participant absences.
6. SCHOOL CANCELLATIONS
If Trick & Fly cancels a class due to instructor availability, facility issues, or other circumstances within the school's control, a make-up class, account credit, or refund may be provided.
7. WEATHER AND UNFORESEEN CLOSURES
In the event of severe weather, facility closures, public health restrictions, power outages, or other circumstances beyond the school's control, Trick & Fly will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements.
Any make-up classes, credits, or refunds will be determined at the school's discretion.
8. ATTENDANCE AND LATE ARRIVALS
Participants are expected to arrive on time and ready to participate.
For safety reasons, participants arriving 15 minutes or more after the scheduled start time may be refused participation in that class.
No refunds, credits, or make-up classes will be provided for missed class time resulting from late arrival.
9. HEALTH AND SAFETY
Parents and guardians are responsible for informing Trick & Fly of any injuries, medical conditions, allergies, physical limitations, or other health concerns that may affect participation.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may impact the participant's ability to safely participate in activities.
10. COACHING AND SKILL PROGRESSION
Participant safety is the highest priority at Trick & Fly.
Coaches reserve the right to modify activities, restrict participation in specific skills, or refuse progression to certain skills when they determine that a participant is not physically or technically prepared.
Coaches reserve the right to determine the most appropriate class placement for each participant.
Participants may be reassigned to a different group if their skill level, physical readiness, maturity, or safety considerations indicate that another class would be more appropriate.
11. INJURIES
Injuries, illnesses, or medical conditions that occur outside of Trick & Fly activities do not qualify for refunds, credits, transfers, or make-up classes.
If a participant is injured during a Trick & Fly class or program, the school may offer a credit, alternative accommodation, or make-up opportunity at its discretion.
12. COMMUNICATION
Email is the primary method of communication.
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that their contact information remains current and accurate.
Important updates, schedule changes, cancellations, and program information will be communicated by email and, when appropriate, by telephone.
13. MEDIA CONSENT
Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during classes, camps, clinics, workshops, and events.
Participant images will only be used for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes when consent has been provided by a parent or legal guardian.
14. RESPECTFUL CONDUCT
Participants are expected to demonstrate respectful behaviour toward coaches, staff, volunteers, fellow participants, and facility property at all times.
Trick & Fly reserves the right to remove a participant from a class, program, or event if their behaviour creates an unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful environment for others.
No refunds or credits will be provided in such circumstances.
15. POLICY CHANGES
Trick & Fly reserves the right to update or modify these policies at any time.
The most current version of the School Policies & Terms of Registration will be available through the school's website and registration platform.
By completing registration, participants and parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to all policies outlined above.
